Max (he/him) reluctantly began improvising in 2019 when a friend asked him to join them in a level one improv class. He terrifyingly accepted, justifying to himself that it would help improve his Dungeons & Dragons play at the table. Since then, Max has mostly conquered his stage fright, going on to perform as one half of the multi-season-sold-out improv comedy duo Maximum Benefit, with Hall Monitors in several festivals, Friends Without Benefits, and more recently with Wet Soup and Third Party.
Max has also provided assistance with Improv Connection's service design and delivery, helping to make the art of improv more accessible to people thinking of giving it a go—reluctantly or otherwise.
