Character Jukebox

This new workshop from nationally beloved teacher, director and performer Austin Harrison unlocks the bold and bizarre characters living inside us.   

Using voice, attitude and physicality, we'll workshop ways shortcut into bold and original characters so we can play freely and explore the bits of us that don't always float to the surface. Be it the serious businessperson your mum would be proud of, or the crime-fighting goblin your 8-year-old self always wanted to be... we'll explore your full jukebox of beautiful characters in this full day intensive.

Austin will work with you on your characters on whatever level you're at. Each one of us can get better truly emobodying another character, and getting better and holding it consistently. 

Time to make audiences go, "OMG, I totally LOVED that character. How did you do that?"

10AM – 1PM: Skills & Play

1PM: Lunch

2PM: New Skills, Practice, Show off new characters

Who Is Welcome

ALL. Whether you're part of the Improv Connection community or another improv school, whether you've got a stock of characters or never attempted one, no worries  – you can benefit from Austin's unique style and excellent notes on the characters you develop.

We're keeping this one ultra low, so you don't miss this one, and a few other amazing ones this term!

That said, if money an issue, hit us up! Some people pay more to help out those with a tight budget, and we're often looking for trades to keep this ship sailing smoothly!
